Famous for protecting the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, with over one-third of the worlds population found here. The parks unique feature is the Neelakurinji flowers that bloom once every 12 years, covering the hills in blue. It also contains Anamudi Peak, South Indias highest point at 2,695 meters.
